Release Dates for Apple inc iPad tablet Mobile Device

The Taiwanese manufactured iPad is pegged at 2 million units a month.  Its New Zeland lauch is expected for July but may not be available until August or September.

New Zelanders are savvy but their attention has always been on mobile devices such as the netbook or laptop computers.

It will be interesting to see what the Kiwi iPad users do with their Apple devices.

Late May will be the projected release date for the Apple iPad device.

This device sold more product than the Apple iPhone did in its launch 2 years ago.

Canadian Apple iPad release date is also pushed back to Late May.

Most iPads are great but there are a small few with “glitches”. I have one with glitches so here’s my story, first hand. Ive spent about 3 days now trying to fix it and sync it with my PC and MAC.

Let me start by saying this device is EXCELLENT, luckly i purchased 2 on the release date. One works great!

The Apple store in the Mall of America was great for setting up the iPad so i could see it working before i left the store. They again, worked great. We decided to power it down and save the battery life. A few minutes later after leaving the store I tried to power up the iPad but was very surprised to see it resetting to factory settings.

Problems resetting to factory settings

My iPad kept resetting to factory settings even after the technician set it up. I decided to visit the Rosewood Apple store only a few minutes from the Mall of America and asked them to set it up again. They graciously did and I again left the store. I powered it down and powered it up and AGAIN, it was reset to factory settings.

Not a common problem

After talking and hanging around both stores, I didn’t notice any other customers coming back with the same problem I had.

I later brought the device back to the hotel and synced it with my PC laptop. It again activated and after working for a day – it later reset and asked to sync with iTunes.

I finally brought the device back to Canada to sync it with my Apple Mini. It worked after charging it for the night then power cycling it down and back on.

The problem of restting was solved. its now been 5 days and no problems. I am extreemly happy with the new Apple iPad tablet. I wouldnt send it back for the world.

I love my iPad

The release date for the United States has come and gone. Surprizingly the lines only lasted 1 hour at most. Is this device over-hyped? Whats going on?

The iPad is available with a variety of options however, they are not yet available with the 3G network.

The Southern Taiwan Earthquake in Kaohsiung Province did not effect the The Hon hai Precision ind. co. ltd, The Manufacturing company of the Apple Ipad device is located in Northern Taiwan in Taipei City.

Kaohsiung is about 249 miles (400 kilometers) south of the capital Taipei. Reports are coming in measuring the quake at a powerful 6.4-magnitude.
